Farmhouse Baby Collection

I have been a sucker for all things Farmhouse lately haven’t you? I’ve been tending to my free range backyard chickens, growing my garden and adding tons of shiplap and farmhouse accents to my home here in Suburban Washington. This trend is in full force and can be seen at the vintage inspired Junk markets I show at to the corner boutique shops and now you can even find Farmhouse accents at Target.  So, as I was pulling together my ideas for my 2017’s collection it was just the perfect fit to bring that same trend into the kids rooms.

This season I have everything from Linen, black and white gingham and ticking for a traditional subtle Farmhouse look to a Vintage red rose and cherry cheeky Farmhouse look.

This gingham was an absolute must ADD to the collection. I paired it with a charcoal minky that matched perfectly. It’s not too harsh and gives it a subtle gender neutral quality. I could see this with a Bright red Name embroidered on the front or just keep it simple with a matching tone on tone thread color. Either way, this pattern is right on the money.

If Queen Anne’s lace doesn’t say Farmhouse I surly don’t know what does…. I have to tell you I love taking  Sunday drives with my family after worship. Down thru the winding roads of the pasture lands in the valley and passing beautiful animals left and right. During these outings I see tons of Queen Ann’s lace, honeysuckle and buttercups.  This scene lifts my spirits to highest for sure!!! The idea of a calm restful day taking in all of the scene around is the absolute best. When the gorgeous Mt. Rainier is out and the sun is shining, walking thru these pastures is a thrill to my senses. Fresh air, a beautiful view and stillness. It really allows you to be present for a moment and take in all of the abundance around you.

These sweet Queen Ann’s lace double
gauze swaddle blankets and sheets are that perfect reflection of what that pasture scene is to me. Soft, flowy and sweet.  You can order the Swaddling blankets here:

Choose from Solids, Sheep or I even have an organic option with the best equestrian scene, horses, horseshoes and all.

Continuing through this new line of color and prints for Spring 2017 is the Denim as well as the Vintage rose and Notcards. I’m showing them here in the Carseat Canopies because I just love how they turned out. The denim is rugged and chic , the Vintage rose is just the perfect vintage kitsch for any self respecting Junk Gypsy and her new baby♥, and Oh the notes cards….. Come on now… This print just has it all. Navy, coral, gold word accents.

You can check out all of these new prints and so much more right in the shop section of the website or in my Etsy shop. Or you can find me on the road this summer show season at one of the local Vintage Markets here in the Pacific North West.  Typically I travel a bit further through out the western United States, but, this year I’m keeping it a little closer to home. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for my Vintage 1963 Aloha trailer , I’ll be hamming it up on the road with all my kids in tow and my amazingly supportive husband.

See ya soon,
